Description
fr

Inspired by the book 'The Gorgeous nothings' (New York, Ed. Christine Burgin / New Directions, 2013) which contains the manuscript fragments of Emily Dickinson (1830-1886), Liao Lin-Ni continues her work in the spatialization of sound that she began in the ensemble piece 'To light, and then return' (2015), and 'Look back on time with kindly eyes…' (2017). Through the timbre of music, she finds and reveals the dimensions of light and shadow in Dickinson's world, defined by nature and the depth of human tenderness.
